Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. coconut oil
  • 1/4 c. shea butter
  • 1/2 tsp. Vitamin E oil
  • 25 drops of Melrose Essential Oil
  • 15 drops of Lavender Essential Oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine coconut oil, shea butter (microwave for 15 secs to soften) and vitamin E oil. Still well.
  2. Add in essential oils and still well.

Becca’s Dulce de Pumpkin Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 can pumpkin (15 oz)
  • 1 can dulce de leche (13.4 oz), usually available in the Mexican aisle of supermarkets
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ tsp cloves
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 Pillsbury pie crust ready to bake (usually available in a pack of two in the refrigerated section of the grocery store)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°.
  2. Place pie crust in 9-inch pie pan. Use a fork to poke some holes in bottom. Place in oven for approximately 10 minutes, or until the crust begins to look cooked and starts to puff up. Remove from oven.
  3. Mix together all other ingredients until smooth.
  4. Pour mixture into par-baked pie shell and return to oven for approximately 40 minutes. Filling will be slightly jiggly when removed, but it should be dark brown and burnished looking.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Crisco
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3 cup oats, uncooked
  • 1-2 cup raisins
  • (optional: nuts, chocolate chips, coconut)

Instructions

  1. Beat shortening, sugars, egg, water and vanilla together 'til creamy.
  2. Add flour, salt and soda to creamed mixture;
  3. Add vanilla, chocolate chips and nuts. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in oatmeal and optionals.
  5. Drop onto greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes
